RESCUE DIVER COURSE

This challenging course increases your knowledge of how to prevent problems and manage them if they occur. It teaches techniques for self-rescue and rescuing panicky or unresponsive divers. It helps you recognize and manage stress in other divers and manage an emergency and use emergency equipment. This course focuses on practicing rescue scenarios in the water. Both demanding and rewarding, many say this is the best course they have ever taken.

The Emergency First Response is a separate PADI affiliate course that teaches lifesaving skills. Oceanwild offers instruction for both children and adults and it is included at no extra charge in this course offering. As a result, when you successfully complete this course with Oceanwild, you achieve two PADI certifications: Emergency First Response and Rescue Diver.

It is recommended that you follow this course with the PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider course to round out your ability to handle scuba diver emergencies.
